ACS Boys-Pros and Cons

Many people have the misconception of ACS guys. Its true that many guys in ACS are flirts and stuff. But the term ACS is too broad. Theres only 1 school which has spoilt brats and flirts. I wouldnt want to say that particular one but its ruining the image of ACS.
People also insult students of ACS. In my opinion its basically because their jealous that their incapable of getting a place into the school. Im sure there are many Acsians in this forum but when we put on the ACS uniform, we feel proud of our school, unlike other institutions. Arent that what they teach students? To be proud of their school?
Would just like to know of your opinion of ACS guys. -

In a bilingual society, one can be forgiven if people have pre-conceived notions of snobs and flirts.
ACS has long been associated with such a 'tag' the same way RI students have long been labelled as 'nerds'.
Most of it has to do with the predominantly english-speaking background most of the students come from and the sizable (though not majority) well-to-do upbringings of these students. This in turn leads them to behave in a specific manner which would cause them to be associated with such a undesirable trait.
Being champs in rugby brings them closer to down to earth students, the kind who's not afraid to get their hands dirty. -

Of course its the best.nah kidding heh. but its kinda hard to understand why ACS produces charming gentlemans, business men and ministers huh.

No leh ACS is much better den R.I..I think those snobs might have come from Independent la..But Barker road guys much more humble and friendly..

RI = Nerd
ACS = Gay -
No doubt, the majority of us are from English-speaking backgrounds, therefore the chances of being misunderstood and mislabelled by the street is very easy.But most of us are not language Nazis after leaving our alma mater, in fact, I think the education system inside helped us engage the world in a more confident manner
Problem is, many mistake confidence for arrogance.And SMAPPY is but one blot on the Blue and Gold. -

Gotta agree with Lazer. People are simply jealous of our backgrounds and then attention girls gives us. And about the independent boys being snobs, I agree too. My friend transfered to I from Barker, he changed for the worst. started wearing school jersys to orchad and stuff. A total disgrace to ACS.
