  To skyfoo: yea its a challenge to go to a new school,yaa cause the school standard would be very much lower,and you'll have a higher chance of being top there..The top of a mediocre school is only mediocre in a top school..Compare the school standards and facts don't lie..

  to skyfoo: and so RI stands for raffles institution, do you see alot of british down there?Hello this is singapore..What potato like chinese who wants to act ang moh,they are generally more accustomed to speak english due to background and the school doesn't play such a big factor in this,i come from a neighbourhood school but i speak english all the time,so am i liable to be called a potato just because of this?And in case you didn't know,english is the international language so there's nothing wrong in speaking it..As such this point of yours is flawed..

  Its 1855....1852 was the time when the Brothers set off...they only founded it in 1855...but I still have no idea why SJI say they started in 1852...
