Anyone remember the storm that hit S'pore in Dec 2001?
I was living not far from the sea, and man the wind's super strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rained non stop for like a few days? -

hey, wasn't it about 2 years or so ago that singapore was at the edge of this massive tropical storm?
lots of trees uprooted and everything..
i forgot which site showed real-time weather satellite patterns.. i go search and look to see if there's a huge one.. -

I remember the rainy seasons...in the middle of the night the wind woke me up...then I watched thick branches falling from the trees outside my window

I've seen worse storms in Western Australia. Even the historic Bunbury cathedral had to be demolished after suffering heavy damage.
Still rememebr the night the storm struck, I was having dinner with friends in Fremantle. THe next day, I read about the horrific trail of damage left by the twisters. -

Common corridor outside my house and my balcony were flooded!!!!
The field behind my house was struck by lightning 3 times, leaving 3 black marks.
I remember when lightning struck my block and the one opposite.
I was living on the second highest floor. The next block is very close to mine.
When lightning struck there's a huge 'BOOM!!!' and it felt like earthquake.
Also I was living near the sea, no block, so very very powerful.
I remember watching in awe as the storm came.... -
