Bunch of posuers who try to imitate that their older 20s people. Wtf. Look at them. their looks - one word like sh%t. Like PAP son daughter. 5- 10 years back it was not like this (my poly and sec school days)
Short or fat and some like primary school type for their age when they already late teens. wtf. Their thinkng sux also The type who is not street smart and grow up in comfort.
Still wanna talk loud and pose . I worry for spore future. Like that how to send Miss Spore or manhunt to contest in beauty pageant?
the current 23+ girls , the former teen who hang at Orchard paragon, Ngee Ann city 10 years ago are much much better... -

The western society was more advanced 10 years forward than Singapore was in the 80s.Naturally we look up to them. We teens a decade back was more to westernised but still had some asian culture in us. Call it a hybrid culture. Generation changed already, it is the older ones that totally misunderstand the younger ones, partly causing the famed Communication Rift... now what, Criticism Rift?
1980's so different from now... At that time there is so much lesser influence because of the lack of fast, easy communication. Last time where got US shows like "Survivor" and "The Apprentice"?
Now there is also Internet (which unforunately older generation people unlike you all here who can log in don't know how to use) which exposes more Singaporeans to Western culture -- how many percentage of the web sites you visit, or normally others visit come from West?
Moreover most of the web site pages are from the West...
The times has changed, and so the changes affect our lifestyles.
It is this big change that made the younger generation unable to withstand setbacks, unable to tolerate small things. You see how many people got a small cut then "eh! eh! eh! got plaster?"...
Then they got setbacks then give up already...
Till now, I don't think we will be able to conclude whether this influence is for the better or worse, as this batch of young generation have yet to prove their load. -

My time, whether your dad owned a listed firm and you were chauffeured to school in a Bentley, or you walked up the long road to class, we all got along damn fine.Played soccer together, got our uniforms torn and muddy together, kenna farked by the DM together..
NS was the same.In fact, for those born in the early 80s and late 70s, notice that the wealthy pals you had are damn generous yet not condescending?
No one looked at your wealth that blatantly, ( black sheeps notwithstanding).
