  Hi, anyone knows how to recover data deleted from thumbdrive?

  its not stupid, u just don' know. it can be done using DOS command, just couldn't remember

  doesn't mean one think there's no answer means its a stopid qn...
  
  to threadstarter, there are quite a few recovery tools out there, but dun assume all your files can be saved.

  Hunt around Internet for Unerase feature software. There should be quite a lot. It also help if you immediately unerase just after you perform a delete cuz if not the so called 'free' bytes may be 'used' say you perform a copy and paste operation or whatever

  let us know if U managed to get ur data back...as the rest were saying...there are softwares that might let U get ur data back...just have to try them out...

  Didn't manage to recover the files as my colleague uses the thumbdrive and i only manage to recover the files she had deleted and not mine previously. Guess my colleague's files had overwrite the files of mine. But the data recovery tools does work!

  sad, maybe the thumbdrive so small there are no other free spaces to write to, so kena overwritten... (or else the bytes still there)
