  hi all,
  
  just curious lah.
  
  1) "Cedele" how to pronouce? Ced-dell? Ced-der-ler? Ced-delli?
  
  2) Cedele cafes got waiters anot? or is it all bakers?
  
  3) the Cedele staff(waiters/waitresses) got wear caps anot? also, what does their uniform look like? is it like white-t-shirt tucked in + black pants + black apron etc.?

  If Im not wrong, Cedele staffs are Service staffs. Service staff must sweep floor serve, do cashier and help around in the kitchen. Bakers just stay behind bake bread.
  
  But you should ask this question to your potential employer.
  
  Cedele can be pronounced in any way you like. Its a name.

  no problem lah. but uniform leh? anyone got see their uniform anot? aprons? shirt/pants color? caps?

  yeah lah, but it's better to know mah. raffles place there all classy people, if i pronouce wrongly, not so professional for me lah. spoil my image also.

  at most in future, when i got the job, i treat u all to S$25 worth of cedele's food lah, at my own expenses.
  
  (by the way, Raffles City[the underground tunnel with shops etc.] is at City Hall MRT is it?)

  by the way, usually, for part-time restuarants/cafes service assistant kind of positon, what should our expected salary be(on the application form, if they ask)?
  
  is it like $4.20(like those retail stores like Watsons' etc.) or is it ok to put down $5 per hour? $5.50?

  u better don't cum, i tell you. u walk into any cedele shop we all die, because once you walk in and walk out, all the cakes that are baked will turn sour-sour, liquid-liquid, yellowish-yellowish like that. sibei erxin. is it because of your smell?

  I dont think you got a choice when it comes to the salary part. Unless you got working experience....if not you cant demand more.

  KNN......very sad leh. if continue to like this, i'm going to kill myself already.
  sigh.........sinking into depression soon......the working hours and job nature of Cedele really cannot fit in with me lah.......somemore the manager say the "training" only 2 hours.......and they expect u to make sandwiches, drinks........more than 30 types......sigh........2 hours how to remember so many......and after 2 hours, whether u master it or not, they'll post you to an outlet and expect u to survive......sigh.......if next wed i still can't find a suitable job, i'm gonna work at factory already loh.

  to think that i, a once-aspiring young man who's so aloof and full of dreams and glories, would be reduced to such an empty state which is far worst off than slackers and beggars.

  no lah, but if i really cannot survive/cannot fit into that job, what's the point of staying on? will only waste and time and get fired in the end also, right?

  last time, i used to be a boss of a small company, i founder mah. but halfway when it's starting to show some signs of sucess, NS came and destroy everything.
  i don't really want to blame NS either lah........the blame is more like 50% on me, 50% on NS......but that's past.
  
  now i just want to find a suitable part-time job.

  anyway, i went for interview as a recruitment executive at a certain private institution today, and results of the interview would be out next week.
  hope i get it.
