Well i don't think they can be grown locally, neither are they available in pot here. I got organic dried lavender from 100g & above if you are interested. They make nice herbal infusion tea with many healing properties that is good for health.

Errrr........now is dengue fever epidemic think it is not advisable to get so many plants at corridoor rite? Wait gahmen ppl pay out a visit and summon you leh. Why give them reason to take your money rite ? -

I don't think Lavendar can survive here.. if it did, the humidity level is not really suitable. I wanted to ship back giant red woods and coastal red woods from America but didn't think it would grow here cause of the temperature... but it would be nice to have them.... They tower 30 stories high and trunk can be so big a car can drive through....

I pot of plant - don't know what's its call. I am growing extensions for my sis. Its characteristic is like a clover but its just one round leaf instead of 4 leaflets. These little vines grow near ponds.... which means they just like to exists in moist places.
My mom is the ultimate Jungle breeder. She used to keep so many pots .. from Pomogrates, Willow, Ixora, Jasmine, Peppermints and other medicinal plants as well... Used to have 20 pots just along the corridore. -

Mine was kept in water .. no soil... I just transplanted into soil. Cause I think its a bit hard to maintain 4 pots. I don't really give fertilizer, some times is just waste water from washing vege, rice and vege spare parts. Other times is just cig ash.
It was a discovery process to find out what each of the fellow like .. I realise they all like the cig ash... and they grow really fast when they get that.
Some plant like to exists in a cooler place, some like lots of sun. My money plant do not ever get direct sunlight. So the leaves are shiny and waxy.

Yeah... I used to change water until I noticed the plants cannot take it anymore and anyways, Lessen my work watering them. I have them all over the place... I don't have a corridore to plant them...Originally posted by a_splash:yes please do mistyblue....post the pix...

They like water but most plants bought off the market are packed in lousy soil or clay .. the roots suffocate and die. I got mine from meidi-ya (former diamaru) .. their soil is loose .. so loose that water a couple of times, everything just flow out...
Fertilizer is easy. Cai Xin central stem skin chopped up and stuffed into the soil will do... this is bio-fertilizer .. better than commercial stuff. I found this works Gai Lan, Cabbage and carrot takes too long to biodegrade. In the end I think I had earthworms in those pots... Must be the cai xin...
At first the plants were shocked to move to my place. Took them a month to get used to the environment... And only after observing that they like water and testing on them ..
Got bugs just use a little detergent mixed in water and spray the bugs. But really got to observe them... -
