Our gahment are smart ppl. They know where their country flaws are and they try their very best to plug the flaw. So you see new water, land reclaim etc project going on.
As to our Northern neighbor, they also have their own set of problem. They may have land and water but they are facing a slow growth cuz of their too pro local policy which means ppl there see no need to progress too fast forward. Water some state wanna sell to us cheap but due to geography they need to pass by some of their brother land so dispute arise. Must they pay money to their own brother in order to get the water to us ?
Note within their country, brother and brother fight also leh. Ever went to their various brother state to see how they fare? It is a good learning experience

and PUB usually don't even have to apply for price hikes. They just sent the notice with the bill and the change comes into effect the next month...
My bill gone up 10 buck cause of the price hikeS (this year hike so many times) on electricity.
I did my maths and figured its cheaper to shower more to keep cool than to turn on the aircon... but eventually I guess sg will really price oursleves out of any foreign investments -

the govt damn blardy smart one. if they can make "people who think they are so fuc.king smart"(singaporeans) to submit to them, what makes it harder for them to get northeners to acquiesce? techinically they have a lower level of literacy than us.

And how does our northern neighbor co-exist peacefully? The M race holds the military and political power whereas the C race do business earn money. M race always not enuff money so get from C race. C race will then give money to maintain the peace among them. So this kind of ruling is good? This is challenging job? Oh I forget muz be every year the M race review how much pocket money to get har?
In recent years, they are asking for more and more and why is that so? Cuz the C race too rich always give until now they so used to stick out hand get money. Hopefully the new generation of M race educated overseas are more competent and more business oriented like the C race -
So with the complicate scenario in M'sia .. you think our current government will be able to manage M'sia better than M'sians?

Why do you think SG loan 5 billion, 10 Billion to Indonesia/Malaysia (I've never heard of payback)? Do you think SG is capable of fending off these countries or keep our borders if these people decide they don't like sg? Its the same, its just how you choose to see it.

I don't trust the health benefits of Newater after hearing from a child testimony over radio "Newater got some smell" over the taste of the desalinated water.
Will we get healthier or sicker in the long-run?

anyhow, we never say not being uneducated is low-life, but since you admitted the general population of malaysians are uneducated, how do you expect them to compete in this ever-changing fluid world? it's like saying "who say don't have F-16s means they cannot fight", but in reality hehe no way right?

Affairs of other countries are best manage by their own constituition as they are in a better position to know what policies are good for its people.
Coming back to SG, still one cannot denied the fact that our policies made by the constituition are prized among other countries and are use as a revise tools on theirs.

That is assume it is for all races and religions in the country rite? However we can see from some other countries some of their policies seem to favour certain race and religion.
