Just don't use it in front of the wrong people and I'm fine with it.

fair chance and warning must be given in advance and ample time to allow the person to make adjustments. My company did that when a colleague used vulgar words so much people around him complaint. After 3 chances. He was out. -
my neighbour company had this policy

the one tt got fined most is.........of cos..........their manager! -

indeed it will affect the image of the company, therefore, i think imposing penalties is mandatory. the most important is a first impression to attract clients.
