i own the original CD and made an MDS image of it with alcohol 120, everytime i try to burn ISO, MDS images for games, when i use the new CD to install on another computer, i get "please insert the game DISC 1" messages like that
most probably is because the original game was protected and any attempts to burn it causes that error message when the copy is used.
anyone knows how to burn workable discs? a perfect 1:1 copy of protected CDs?
ditzy
You know why or not? Because after you install, you never patch the game with the crack in cd2.

which comes first...chicken or egg?

you need isopropyl alcohol, or ethanol. pour it over the disc, then set it on fire with a lighted match or a lighter, and you're done.

i think skyfoo's answer is the only valid and correct one...

egg, becos at some point in time in evolution there were 2 almost-chickens and they laid the egg that hatched into the chicken. that egg was the first chicken egg.

different cds have different kind of copy protection, you gotta find out what type your cd does, den u google for the type of burning method u use, as well as if you are using drive emulation, you must set to that kind of protection emulation. e.g. safedisc.
den MAYBE u can use. cuz i didn't bother, nor try.
