I just found out that the popular believe among candidates and teachers that examiners wouldn't count word for word in the summary writing section of the English paper 2 is actually a total myth. In turns out that the first thing they do is to count the number of words of the script they mark, ones the limit of 150 words are reached all other words will be cancelled out if even if its just one or two words extra, so the other believe that examiners will close one eye if the summary has just a few words extra is also a myth.
Summary weights 25 marks, of this 15 for points(usually there will be 22-23 points)and 10 marks for style but if your word counts goes less then 125 words, 2 marks will be deducted from you style for every shortage of 25 words -
Since when was that statement wasnt a myth?

soon, they will make pple submit in Microsoft Word and then they will use the Word Count tool to do it...and even auto-marking...
