Personally, I think the better question would be,
"At what age do women who desires to be attached and settle down, but still single and available (and no guy has approached them before, or previously has but she used to turn them all done because of career first) become really desperate?"

Well from what I know stats by the SDS and SDC has shown that in recent years the marriage rate is dropping due to the education of ladies in SG. As they get more educated, they get more "picky" in a sense. Since they have degree the guys have to be on par or even better. So end up fly by date, still unattached its their own fault really. I guess most of us guys would automatically avoid late 30s unattached women.
Frankly speaking I think its a fact of SG life.
Most guys would know what I am talking about. The gf often has to be younger by 5 to 6 years than the bf due to a variety of reasons. The most common being:
1. He is too young for me so not mature enough
2. Not financially stable.
2. As I get older, I get more picky
I know I am going to get flame for this but i am going to say it anyway.
Guys with $$$ here can still "outsource" but ladies with "$$$" on the other hand due to pride will not be able to do the same. I believe you reap what you sow. Chances are these late 30s unmarried ladies were probably very successful pretty people when they were young. The typical SG type that look down on poor guys or the slightly less educated. So I believe that they deserve it. No pity for them. As for us guys, those of us who fail to win the race in SG "deserve" it also los. After all in, no $ no talk -
