Jenn, people here can tell u to get one to make u male, but ultimately u know yourself what's best for you. A counsellor is to help smooth out your option decision process. i'm suppose to go see one some time next month. and yea i prefer talking to females too about these stuff, not so sure why though. maybe they're generally nicer, or that they're more likely to understand me, or maybe its just easier to talk to someone of the same sex.
Anyways gorby107, u should know that a counsellor will have no more success in trying to make Jenn feel male than he/she would in trying to get you to feel female. Anyways the most the counsellor would succeed in doing is to make Jenn live in guilt for the rest of her life. Do u really want that for her? I'm sure u don't so theres no point in that. -
open or not? well put it this way. most of u can be even less open about even more trivial issues. age? education level? job? even many of you 'normal' people often lie about this sort of insignificant things, is it fair to expect someone going thru a transgender issue to be completely honest and wide open for everyone to read like a book? In my opinion, Jenn is already being more open to the people here than she has any need to be. She doesn't have to be here to subject herself to this sort of humiliation from you guys. Ok I know that it is not easy for Jenn to say about it but she is willing to tell us as she wanted to know what are the reactions of people are towards this situtuation which Jenn metioned earlier on. So many people are not so comfortable to this from what I see which includes me. In the beginning I just want to know whether Jenn is really transsexual but I pushed too far asking her more questions and so on. I think I should put a stop to this to respect Jenn.
