Cb, i could have got a degree in the 2 years. Serve NS nevermnd but why not serve after getting degree? I think the rules need to change lah....At least get degree u got more time to socialise and in your 20s already , gals are more mature and easier for guys to find future wives...

One question to ask yourself. Are you living comfortably in Singapore? Would you rather be living in Africa or less comfortable living conditions ? Look at some countries that had been unluckily hit by disasters , they are homeless and in need of food and money to survive. Would you rather live that kind of life ? Think about it.
The goverment has done a lot for us to make our lives in Singapore a pleasant place to live in. As Singapore is a very small dot in the world map, what if some other countries or terrorists attacked Singapore, who is going to defend ?
Treat NS as a positive thing. Every guy has to go through 2 years , whether he is fit or unfit , go through it. Make new friends, get some working experiences before going out to the real working world or furthur your studies. You are never too old to stop studying , so dont worry about your 2 years wasted.
