( i ) Cavalli-Sforza (1995):
Sforza et al used single and multi-loci gene sequencing and phylogenetic tree studies to develop the Map of Human Genetic Diversity confirming already known differences that exist among Caucasoids, Mongoloids, Negroids and Australoids in different continents. The Map confirms the unity of the Caucasoids from Europe and in west, south and much of central Asia. [1]
[ NOTE : SOUTH ASIA = INDIA ]
( ii ) US Supreme Court Decision - USA vs. Bhagat Singh Thind (1937 ):
US Supreme Court, in it’s decision...agreed that Indians were Caucasians and that anthropologists considered them to be of the same race as white Americans, but argued that ‘the average man knows perfectly well that there are unmistakable and profound
differences’ [2]
( iii ) J. Phillipe Rushton, Professor, University of Western Ontario :
Prof. Rushton’s writings indicate that,
1].....Based on valid phenotypical differences among groups, the classification of the major races, ie. Caucasoid, Mongoloid and Negroid, is substantiated......
2].... Mongoloids, Caucasoids and Negroids can be distinguished based on obvious differences in skeletal morphology, hair and facial features, as well by blood groups and DNA fingerprints. Forensic anthropologists regularly classify skeletons of decomposed bodies by race....[3]
CONCLUSION
1 ).Biologists and natural scientists now argue that new studies in molecular genetics support a nomenclature strongly resembling traditional racial and ethnic terminology.[ 1 ]
2). The existence of genetic differences among races is well accepted. In general, genetic clusters exist that correspond tightly to the census definition of race and to self-identifies ancestry. One large exception to this correspondence is that South, Central
and West Asians ( e.g. Asian Indians ) cluster with Europeans and are separate from East.Asians [ 1]
