just got one.. its tight. =) bought it at 200 USD.. supposed to be 250 usd but the one i bought was returned by an unsatisfied buyer.. and the store owners replaced the parts and changed everything to new ones.. only thing is that the box isnt sealed.. warranty was renewed for me to the day i bought it. i got a pretty good deal, i mean.. 50 $ off just because the package was returned by an unsatisfied customer.Originally posted by JennTS:nano nano nano.

but seriously, the reason why the Ipod overshadows practially all competition is because Apple cleverly turned it into an icon, not a product. plus, Creative lose out in the aspect of design. tell me, how many people would actually buy something for its features over design, when both features are roughly the same. besides, a radio in there is useless, especially when ur carrying your whole music collection with you. i had a radio in my first mp3 player, an ancient Intel Concert Player...used it like only 5 times in its whole 4 year life span.
also, the Ipod will take a lot of undoing to fail. wonder why? take a look at all the peripherals available to the whole Apple Ipod range. the Ipod almost single handedly created a whole market. even if Apple don't push the Ipod, too many have too much to lose for it to fail.
Proud owner of a 60Gb Ipod Color btwanyone know where to get Iskins? especially a Man United skin if possible

Then you're missing out alot on what the ipod can provide.Originally posted by shade343:Me. I buy products based on it features and not design.
The click Wheel itself makes ipod stand out.Originally posted by notime:How's the user interface between the 2? Are they very similar? Thanks in advance for any replies..
Not exactly just for the sake of appearance factor.Originally posted by fudgester:This topic has been done to death.
Here's the bottom line (in my opinion):
If you want features and value for money, go for Creative.
If you want looks and the 'show-off' factor, go for iPod.
Thanks. Guess I'll have to see it for myself then.Originally posted by M©+square:The click Wheel itself makes ipod stand out.
So...no, they are not similiar.
Just do the dial on the click wheel. You'll understand what i'm talking about when you get to a apple centre and feel it.Originally posted by notime:Thanks. Guess I'll have to see it for myself then.
Btw do you have a preference in terms of ease to use (search for certain track for exampe)?
its all in the marketing strategy.. go check how much apple spend on its mktg budget compared to creative.Originally posted by geniez:Actually I am doing a topic on Creative.. so I need to seek out the reasons why it lose to Apple and what Creative can do to save itself...
