Q on Singnet Recontract

  My singnet BB contract is expiring soon. I have been asked to recontract .
  
  I have some doubts
  
  1. What are the prevailing charges if I chose not to recontract?
  
  2. I understand that if I recontract before my contract ends, the one time registration fees will be waived. But if I chose to wait for the next promotion which also means my contract would have expired by then, will I still enjoy the waiver?
  
  3. Will my email account be retain if I decide not to recontract but pay prevailing charge instead.
  
  4. Which is better PSP or Music system + Modem?
  
  Have anyone caught in similar situation before, care to shed some light before I decide to call them.

  Best to let it expire and sign up for a new one....preferably with Starhub Maxonline for now. But don't sign up for too long a contract coz next year, expect more ISP rolling out cheaper plans.

  Singnet will ask you to terminate and sign on again as a NEWCOMER to enjoy the goodies which are applicable to NEWCOMERS ONLY.
  
  Trust me.
  
  There's no loyalty plan in Singnet.

  You can check the non-contract prices on Singnet's website I believe.

  I don't think so. That's the carrot they hang in front of you before you get a chance to switch to another ISP.

  Yes. You get to keep your email account. In fact, you can get to keep your email account for a nomial fee even if you decides to switch ISP after your contract.

  Depending on your own needs. Just remember that you would have to pay hell lots of money if you decides to terminate your contract prematurely because you had got an expensive 'free gift' from them.

  Typically I do recontract with Singnet. I used to play World of Warcraft and the Singaporean players in the game using MaxOnline lags badly. So I don't really have a good impression of Starhub.
