Qns about hair bleach.

Ok once again i need ya help so pls bear wit me fer this time?.. Some background info.. ive NEVER bleached my hair before.. all my tinting N all are done in salons so ive never performed diy..
i heard stories wher hair bleaching has gone wrong N lead ta terrible things.. But nevertheless, i wan ta try to lighten my hair color slightly.. I wan all of it ta be evenly bleached N only a very very slight bleach.. Any way i can acheive this? Reason y i don wanna go ta salon for tht is cuz im savin up fer my juicy couture stuff N also bleachin can be done yrself.. goin ta change my hairstyle drastically again aft takin my promo exams !!
My current hair is dyed mahogany brown hair OVER my previous blondish highlights N it's startin to fade so da highlights are showing up.. it's nt a good quality one i muz admit cuz my fren recomended me ta some apprentice's salon.. lol. tryin ta cover it up N have my hair evenly colored ta avoid being caught by my school.. but it muznt be too light also..
Any suggestions? :]

You want quality bleaching with $30? Forget it. It's going to screw up. Your hair will probably turn out dryer than the leaves I see falling in autumn.
