Beware of hawkers dipping fingers into yr food!!!

  during dinner just now, at a foodcourt, the person in front of me at a mix rice stall made a fuss over the pricing of the veggie and had a little argument with the hawker.............
  
  ...........then when the hawker was handling the food to him, I (being the observant me ) saw him dipping his index and middle finger into the curry soaked rice b4 wiping the 2 fingers at the side of his shorts.
  
  while the ''dirty'' act is going on, the victim was searching for notes in his wallet.
  
  when it's my turn, the hawker didn't do that act anymore.
  
  Lesson Learnt: dun offend hawkers, accept the pricing even if it's only a few cents diff.

  Wah lau, sometimes i don't really understand why people resort to such tricks. I know perharps a moment of folly or to release their anger, but why can't the world be more perfect when people make way to one another.

  i wouldn't be the victim 'coz why find trouble in the first place?
  But if i get to choose, i choose to be beaten up.
  At least it is something you get to 'see', and fend for yourself.

  I also have a feeling that hawkers favour blue-collar workers than white-collar workers, from what I observed..........

  Not just hawkers ... food servers, drink servers, barber and many many others...
  These people don't earn much... why make their lives so difficult. If for a few cents argue .. then its better to eat at home lah.

  I know lah... but they had to buy it with their hard labour. BTW, some hawkers own race horses in turf club. Its not cheap to put up a horse esp in sg.
  
  Some hawkers over charge and are dishonest and exercise unfair treatment of the customers... but so do restuarants and most places. How does one get back at these unfair hawkers is not to confront these people directly cause they will surely retailate. Its not boycott them .. if if people can.. then they can tell as many people as well..
  
  To me life is just an acting game. Some people work hard to get a mercz and others eye green. Some people are given S class and others say they are rich what. All these are made up by humans what should and what should not... all these are so artificial...

  And they don't work. So we should also stop going to church and religious places?
  Some monks/nuns go shopping like us and using whose money - god knows. And mostly they are so awkward among normal people.. and they act like normal people who see nice stuff and waht to buy it all. Yet they cannot blend in and sorta distance themselves - maybe they think they are better perhaps. I wonder if they expect us to pay respects to them.   I second that...by the way, there's this poor old auntie in near to the cineleisure traffic light and opposite the HMV. She's selling some stuffs....poor thing. Please buy from her even though it's overpriced...she's so sad.

  the uncle at my workplace canteen actually uses his bare hands(no gloves at all ) to scoop up cooked spaghetti onto the plates, in full view of the customers(not even trying to hide at all!). then he uses the very same hands to collect money & give change.
  
  but hell, ppl still buy his food coz it is nice. not only spaghetti, those chicken chops, pizzas he oso uses his bare hands to handle.
