Dear all...today I went to cineleisure for a movie. On my way back, there's this poor old auntie on the traffic light of cineleisure towards HMV. She's so sad...selling tissue paper and bread on the streets.
The truth is, I'm so sad seeing her selling those tissue paper and bread on the streets to the extent of almost begging.
The most painful thing is when nobody seems to care...least to notice her.
So if any of you happened to walk pass her, please help her and do a genuine good deed for the day and sacrifice your $2 for a packet of her tissue. It's overprice I know...but at least notice her and talk to her or support her in whatever ways is convienent to you. Thanks all.

Dude, everytime i went there, my soft-hearted friend will surely buy 1 off her.
i know she is poor, but hey, she has hands she can work in perfect condition why dont she find a job? there are more less-unfortunate people in singapore and handicap people yet still they work with effort. For example if were to go to centre point ( i think) and there's a blind guy playing his guitar. in this case i really donated to him, because at least he is playing and using his talents in everyways. even though he is blind, i think even he can play better than me. -

Yes true......but I would rather she just stay at home and be happy. Actually it's the sadness from her eyes that touches me deeply and genuinely. I noticed there was another old lady who plays the harmonica at the underpass near Lido, dunno if she is the same lady. Although she doesn't play it very well...but i'll always spare a few shillings whenever i see her. i understand how you feel...but sometimes if they can walk and do some minor labour...i rather them do that...even working in hawker centres washing plate is also a good idea...but selling overpriced items...*dun blame me*...i think in a way is cheating...its like getting more money from people when they feel sympathetic...
but if they really work...these old people will get the real hard earn as they work for every single cent...selling overpriced tissue paper is like taking advantage of other people's(like yourself) kindness...
just my humble opinion...
