Why only Chinese shows on TV mobile?

i extracted this from the straits times forum.
I've written this letter to let people be aware of what's happening on public buses.
TV mobile is a good source of entertainment. For me, the journey from my workplace to my home takes an hour.
I would like to know why there are only Chinese shows on TV mobile. It's very unfair to people of other races to just sit and stare at the TV when they have no idea what's happening.
You don't have to telecast Tamil or Malay programmes. A simple English programme will do. Please readjust the progammes.

Guess you and I go out at the wrong time. I want to watch Chinese shows, but I always get English shows. You want English shows, you always get Chinese shows. Maybe we should exchange bodies..... (I don't want, I am happy with it)

TVMobile abides by Govt's programming rules
I refer to the letter by Mr Tan Khee Shian 'Why is there a bias towards Chinese shows on TVMobile?' (ST Online Forum Oct 14).
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. Regarding your concern that TVMobile often broadcasts Mandarin dramas and variety shows, please be assured that it is the programmer's duty to deliver a mixed genre of entertainment, infotainment, lifestyle and news programmes.
In accordance with the latest ACNielsen survey, English is the preferred language for TVMobile programmes at 71 per cent, followed by Mandarin (26 per cent).
Bearing in mind the language sensitivity in a multilingual country like Singapore, our programming content is 88 per cent in English and 12 per cent in Mandarin (based on a typical week).
As for the audio level in the buses, surveys are done on a regular basis to ensure that commuters are comfortable with the volume. According to the same ACNielsen survey, 67 per cent feel that the volume is just right. In fact, 18 per cent feel that the audio level is a bit low.
We understand your frustration that you do not have the option to switch off what you do not like to see.
As the provider of the world's first free digital TV service on public transport, we would like to assure you that TVMobile abides by the programming codes and regulations set by the Government's regulatory body, the Media Development Authority.

Maybe he or she may not feel comfy on only Chinese shows been aired... Maybe english educated
