  If u are genuine and interested in administrative work like data entry or day-to-day admin and don't mind 'full-time/part-time' contract work which means work as contracted staff to while time away while looking around, u can PM me....I'm really looking for contract staff who can work till March 06 at least. 5 day work, resort environment, data entry and application processing daily.

  computer literate
  INITIATIVE - MUST!
  class 3 licence will be a bonus

  you must understand how employment agency works.
  
  they get commission only after you are recruited and stayed with the employer for at least a month. so it is only normal that they are selective and not waste time on candidates that are not marketable.
  
  take my case for example i registered with some agencies for 2 years and they have not given me a single lead. i called and was told 'if we do not call you it means that there are no openings'.

  agencies are good for part-time jobs
  
  online job sites are pretty ok
  i think asiaone careers is quite good....

  yeah... go do some part time work first.. or temp work..
  
  the benefits are two-fold, it brings home some pay and it allows you to work at a place which, who knows? may later be recruiting and they already know you

  by the way, is it easy to get government jobs? like a lowly office boy or similar at those ministries? like Manpower and Education?
  because these government ministries never advertise on the classifieds.

  it isnt that they dont advertise. i believe they have no vacancies.
  
  stat boards are supposed to cut down on manpower within a certain time frame.
