This is my first posting here and would like to say hi to everyone.
I have been watching (and enjoying!!) this forum for quite some time but never did any posting before.
Anyway, i need some info on a couple of things.
Right now i have a diploma in mechatronics Engineering and working as an Engineering assistant at one of the MNCs. Iam also pursuing a degree in electronics engineering at NUS (part time). I will be completing it soon and i am thinking of switching my job.
So, what i want to know is, how much salary can i expect in my new job? i mean, i have about 5 years of experience but that's with my diploma. When i apply for a new job with my degree can i bargain based on that experience?
BTW, whats the average salary of a fresh uni engineering grad?

Once i get the job and work for some time then the question of boss liking me or not comes into play.
But during the interview how much can i demand or what is the typical amount that would be offered?
