Ppl i need advise , i am really lost. is about F&B

  i am a 17 taking my o levels this year. i wanted to go tp for the Hospitality & tourism management. but then my frd sae when u come out of tp from that course is not as gd as shatec grads. and u get jobs that mainly got to do with mangment.
  
  my sis advise me to go shatec there after my o levels since i am very very keen in F&B line. i know it is not easy line u get farked up customers and lots of crap but i still wanna go into F&B.
  
  so i am confused shatec or tp ? i wanna be some1 that knows how to cook, serve and manage staff. where can i get the proper course i need advise especially those that have been though those courses or are in the F&b line. lots of thanks

  food no easy, unless you're damn good with innovative dishes to attract customers.

  But that course can do alot more den shatec..Also you are into abit of business in the hospitality and tourism course...So i think more beneficial..

  i can tell u..its very hard & stressful work. sometime 20hour workin day.

  If you are more towards the business side, go TP. If you like service more, go Shatec.

  Tat depends on u and hw keen u are at learning... F&B Service line is nvr easy! U hve to endure long hours, and long, i means long back to back hours... double shift and OT!! And hve to handle many different odd-tempered ppl. And ur pay can be oly peanuts... Many internal backstabbing occurs ard oso. Tink thru b4 u wan to step into tis line.
  
  If u wana go into management side... go australia for hotel management course. S'pore study which wan end up oso small fry oly...

  Thanks for the replys. i decided to go tp first, then shatec, if not go overseas after i grad from tp gonna work very hard to get the money don't wanna depend on my parents. any1 need part time waiter here ? basic pay is 4.50/h cheap rite ? i have 3 months working experience and very good service lloz
