The rented tapes were not dubbed so we get to hear the lahs and singlish. Chen Hui Hui's Mandarin is very good and so was her screen husband. It feels so "at home" to watch. (We craves for Jiu Zhen Gao or Holland V type of local language.)
The video rental store said it was a popular drama (for rent) in the Toronto market. I think it is refreshing for them to hear something different. They even asked me about S'pore. Touring and eating. Alamak......I long time didn't visit, also don't know how to be ambassador. Only told them about Sentosa. But they seemed to be more interested to eat the stuff shown on Yummy Yummy. -

If you listen to the originals, that Kevin Cheung guy, the way he calls Ben Terry, Ben's screen name, is so funny. He pronounced as Telly. And later on, he also adopt a bit of our accent. Even Raymond Lam although not as much as Kevin.

The dubbing I think is locally made one ar.... Those good quality ones are official TVB dubbing which we hear all the time in TVB dramas.
Oh, and not to mention that the video quality is pretty bad... -
