Where is the best for Tie Da?
I sprained my ankle. I tried rubbing with zheng gui shui and now it's worse.
Where ah? How much do they normally charge?
Appreciate your input (cuz two weeks from now, I will have to do a lot more walking everyday ). -

The last time I visited a TCM for sprained ankle was donkey years ago.
The shop was opened by some china women and they chop neck one -- kept pushing me to do back massage to make more money out of me, when I only injured my right foot. They claimed that this way the blood flow faster and my leg would heal faster. Ok lah, let them massage lor. So painful! Naymind. The next day I developed a high fever, thanks to the china auntie's powerful hands. -
oh.. i usually go there to see to a messed up shoulder muscle.. hurts but really good..
i go to the Redhill one.. around $25
p.s. they will only treat the problematic part.. -

My opinion would be RICE treatment
R - REST
I - ICEPACK
C - COMPRESSION with ELASTOBANDAGE
E - ELEVATE your leg to reduce the swelling
Use an elastocrepe bandage (can get from pharmacy) for about $2...
You need 2 weeks to heal with this, but you can walk almost after 2 days of bandaging without much pain...
I also recommend some gel such as Counterpain (RM 7.50) and METSAL (RM 14.90) -

zheng gui shui on its own not too good.
Its there swelling? if there is it maybe broken bone.
Otherwise, theres another good tcm massager: Nulife. -

The physician said cannot eat the following :
- salted veg
- coconut milk
- orange
Somehow, I suddenly have a strong urge for curry... any curry from Indian Muslim stall. (curry has coconut milk).

i was just told not to drink cold water.. which i never listen to
now wondering if i should go to the TCM fella instead of tonight's Parish Holy Hour.. decisions... decisions...

friend, swollen ankles are due to brokened blood vesels...now u even tried to rub it urself, of cos will break more vesels n further swellling la..basically u have to rest for the first 3 days..then apply heat package to disperse e blood...Originally posted by Honeybunz:Where is the best for Tie Da?

You have flour, and Martell + a little water..
In the night mix it into a soft dough and a little sticky. wrap the dough around your ankle. Use a bandage/cloth to hold the dough in place. And go sleep with the thing on. Next morning just peel it off.. you'll feel better.

My dad used martell cause that was the bottle that he opened and had been using it for these purposes and also to drink... once in a while.. -
Is this Martell treatment basically a cooling ice pack and applied pressure?
