Mother and girlfriend - both are woman? but why different?

On and off, my girlfriend and i argue/quarrel. She said woman is like that.
But i spent my past 20 years staying with my mom under the same roof. how come i never quarrel with my mom? -
your mother used to be a girlfriend of your dad.. after shez married with him and have you.. she became a mother.. hehe
anywayz their expectation, priorities are different.. once children enter their life.. they change.. -

Haha, I think that is a horrible comparison. The answer simply lie in the fact that you are your mothers son, like it or not, she'll be your mother, so she just has to accept her fate and stand your noncense, I guess the same applies to you.
You never quralled with your mum, unbelievable... I qurall with her all the time and she never grew tired of it! neither have I. I guess instead of driving a wedge in between us, these quralls have actually brought us closer together. Think abt it, when have you been the most sincere in your life-when you are angry!
Of course, I do not think she would be so tolerant if it was my dad in my place twenty years ago. -

well, probaly i'm lucky. i never quarrel with my mom... at least, not that i can recall ...

i know friends who never quarrel with their mums cos.. err they don't talk to them at all. go out early come back late. where got time.

The love of ur mom to u: unconditional love: She wont expect too much, happy as long as u can take care of her when she is old. She only have few children, including you, irreplacable children
The love of ur gf/wife to u: conditional love: She want to marry u... IF you take care of her, shower her with gifts and romances, suffer because you will get her pregnant next time... She has lots of options and you are one among the options... If she's not happy and dissapointed too often, somebody will replace you.
