how come? parking ticket fine

i just parked my car near bedok. I saw that the inspector was checking the parking coupon on every car at the car park.
Out of curiosity, I went to check which vehicles were fined.
There were 3 cars got fined.
one is Mercedes Benz SLK
one is Audi A4
one is BMW.
nowadays, is rich man fake one ah? they just spent all their money to buy expensive cars ... and have no money to pay parking coupons? -
precisely they have the money that they would rather pay the fine than to trouble themselves with tearing the coupons.

rich ppl dun need use coupon one.. they wait for the police to catch them then okong them then the fine would be more expensive then the coupon.. thats how they show off their wealthyness to the public..
saying i'm rich.. i can afford any summons.. -

If i parked somewhere to go close a large 5 figure business deal, and I'm in a hurry, why would I be worried or bothered by a parking ticket? Or even the wheel clamp?
Sometimes, it's in a rush, and a big business deal can cover all expenses including summons. -

Another explanation is that the riches have the mentality that they try their best to contribute to government coffer and one way is to create the situation where they can pay fines. Majority of the money from fines will go back into government coffer, eg traffic fine, parking fine, etc.
Looking at the way traffic police is setting up speed traps, eg behind the pillar of the Telok Blangah Via Duck, to detect speeding cars from behind, we need these good rich man to help to pay more fines to top up government coffer expecially now that the COE price is low and the government need a lot of money to make up the difference. -

i have another theory.
Rich people are more advanturous.
They take oppurtunity. from somthing as big as busines deal and as small as parking coupons.
They do things typical singaporeans don't dare to do at that moment, thus, make a windfall. with their characteristic of being adventurous, oppurtunistic, they become rich.
taking chances on parking coupons is just reflecting one of the rich people's characteristic. -
Well, i'm sure for every BMW that cheats/never display coupon, there'll be at least another Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic or Nissan Sunny somewhere in Singapore that didn't too...

next time u see officer putting fines on people's car, go scold him vulgarities and dare him to put more fines. then he angry put a lot of fines on the car you just walk away to your own car

Anyway, the parking attendants are at full force now. It's no longer just handled by HDB or URA themselves. They've outsourced and private firms are handling the carparks too. The frequency of attendants at car parks have upped. It's really bad news for drivers out there. -

Coupon expensive? Bother to keep old coupons. Bother to put it up when parking. But dun bother to tear a new one?
If the parking is $3 and the driver only needs to park for 15 mins and very often, then I can understand why he cheat a bit.
Save that 90cts for what?? To give to beggar?
Why take the risk of getting fine (not cheap, ok!) and contribute to the govt's pocket?? -

Wah, last night went to Singlap carpark. (next to Shell).
Same story... (purposely went for a round).
total cars in car-park ( 30-40 cars), cars got fined:
1) Mercedes-Benz E200
2) BMW 5 series
3) Lexus RX
4) and another Toyota Camry
