  Too much hopping means your future prospective boss may think twice b4 hiring you.
  
  Staying in the same job may mean you become too entrenched and complacent.
  
  For me, it must be better conditions and if you are 30+, better salary
  and prospects. Else no point moving.

  It is ok when you are yong. try to do it before 30. but when you are getting old, it is tough to do that.
