Should tertiary education be free in Singapore?

Welfare also goes to those who insist they cannot find a job and want the government to support them. Medical subsidied? Probably one of the highest in the world and always a frequent talking point on primetime news. -

Since singapore's tertiary education institutes are WORLD CLASS, it means that many foreigners are queuing to get into them. Thus, MOE should set the fees the foreign students are paying to be 3 times as high.
This has 2 benefits. Firstly, it ensures that only the rich foreign students can come here to study and when they come, they will spend much more money here than poor ones. Secondly, the extra 2 x fees can be used to subsidise the local students. -

we are just one little island, no natural resources, hav to face challenges from the countries in the region yet also depend on the countroes in the region...the only comfort we can draw is a tighter knit of the population and free from natural disasters. if education is free here...who's gonna pay the teacher and lecturers' salaries? the gahman?

The foreign students are already paying outside rates, that is what Singaporeans pay when they go overseas
Our school fees are already 90% subsidised, I wonder if it is $4000 a year, the parents can afford to make their children to pursure teritary education even in SG -
