How do you protect yourself in Malaysia

Please tell truthfully what weapons/arnaments do you bring there to protect yourself.I brought 2 choppesr before in my father's car under my seat
that time got high crime -rate then we passing through johor bahru somemore. -

In Msia car having weapon is not allow and illegal, but u might love to buy a big fat rottan and keep in the car for safety against etc..
Unless they are using gun lor.. haaa...
reason to use rotan instead of wooden stick.
Coz stick will break when uses with forces. Rotan will not..

so that it will be flexible. -
be humble. dont act. when talking with ur family members, dont quote prices as 'dollars'. talk in 'ringgit'.

2. Don't wear colorful or branded clothes. Wear as if you are going down to hawker centre or market.
3. Don't bring too much money. duh?
4. Don't say insulting or obvious things like "wow so cheap ah.. price only half!!" etc etc.. comment on anything in ringgit etc
5. If possible converse in only malay or cantonese.
6. Try not to buy too much in one go. Bulk buying will give you away.
7. If you have a malaysian friend, its better to get him to negotiate taxi fare etc.. -

another point to add, when driving in their expressway look out of their 'mata' spot check. Usually before approaching the brighter area "lamp pole" shine area.
Coz those mata also afraid will get crash by those fast and furious -

just don't take cab in dark back lane.
and i will only take chinese cabbie veh..
Try to ask abt how much the cab fare before jumping in.
Not negotiate with them. Sometime will get angry de...
If fare not to your budget, then just say thank you and close the door -

I'll bring a high quality extendo, just becareful not to get caught, or you'll have a hard time explaining. Make sure extendo is long enough so you can subdue your mark safely even if he has a knife, just don't get too carried away and end up killing him.
If you can obtain pepper sprays, i would say it's the best option. It will incapacitate him for long enough to escape. If his face sucks, don't hesistate to spray more than once on his face. It will cause him unimaginable pain and suffereing.
However, if your assailant is armed with guns, i would suggest you apply fast strokes to kill him. Hitting on the left cheeks, temple, solar plexus, nose bridge with enough force can kill him in one blow or at least black him out. -

Infront of me is Humvee with 50 caliber mg on top..
Behind me is our guards Light Strike Vehicle..
Air support will be called for if needed..
All the way to Genting...

Lol, got so dangerous or not? I mean there're thousands of cars out there on the road. Got so easy to get robbed ah? Everywhere on the world also got crime la. It's ppl saying ur hometown got ppl get robbed, u become paranoid meh? not me...Besides, so many cars around, so unless u purposely go to secluded, dark places i dun think the chances of getting robbed is high la. If ur in those city area lots of ppl or on highway....who wanna rob u...robber also must know how to choose the best chance to succeed wat...

Actually i recommend going in using an APC plus an armor convoy.. with helis for air support and AMX-13 light tanks for guarding the flanks... oh not forgetting 3 companies of infantry -
Just be cool and calm lor... if you need any protection, a pepper spray is a welcome sight. Though you can't keep much weapon in your car, try to be innovative and think of something in your car that can be used as a weapon also. But if they bring out M-16, sigh... see God liau...

Ask yourself:
If you have rotan/knife/baseball bat or whatever, will you use it when you are robbed at knife point?
Most people will kwai kwai surrender money to them - and that I think is the most sensible thing to do under normal circumstances.
The best protection is applying common sense in everything you do, failing which the best option is to stop going there. -
