"Dead" pixels on Laptop Screen

  I will like to know whether it is normal to see 1 or 2 "dead'/blue dot, which should be pixels on the laptop screen?
  
  How many is acceptable? What can we do about it? Is it a defect or it is normal on LCD screen? Will it cause more to come?

  having more than 2 dots missing would b considered a spoilt LCD screen already...according to my friend who is into IT and used to work in pioneer..
  
  not sure about wat u can do bout it, but i guess even if u replace, have to do e whole screen lo..
  
  of cos u still can condt using it...

  just bought a few days ago. it is blue dot. but if under white background, you can see it... called the agent and went to the dealer, they all say industrial standard to change/replace if there is only more than 6

  a count of <12 is accepted for brand new ones...variable amongst manufacturers

  Samsung allows 5
  
  if its plasma screen..samsung allows 50% dead pixels..
  
  of cos, its not noticeable to the human eye with 50% dead pixels in plasma screens

  By right under warrant.. before 7 day.. any dead pixels.. can be exchange..i ask they bluff u de.. quick go demand your right,,
