  In general computer stuff and electrical appliance in malaysia are much more expensive than Spore assuming 1 to 1 dollar conversion. I take a look at my Kingston thumbdrive 512 Mb they selling RM 125 which is abt $57 and so cheaper than wat I bought in spore at $63. But imagine I earned RM than I will be forking out so much more.
  
  So for more advanced stuff Spore still have the advantage in terms of pricing but if talk about foodstuff etc which we import from malaysia than we lose out

  I just nid an dvd- r drive external can le..
  Coz my internal drive is an cd-r/rw ...
  Dun wanna take it out to replace an dvd-rw....

  I bought a LG one with DVD-RAM supported and paid $248 for it. Good drive that supports both firewire and USB 2.0...
