  do ur parents/sibling go thru ur belongings in ur bedroom cabinet or drawer secretly, when u r not around??? n did they ever question u bout why u have that 'offending item' in ur possession?? wats the 'offending item' then in ur case?
  (eg. cigarettes, condoms, knife/weapons, vibrators/dildoes, sex toys, gf or bf foto, certain kind of medications, glue 4 sniffing, contraceptive pills, stolen items, bikinis/lingerie, porn magazines, porn discs, drugs, religious items u r not suppose to own [eg. owning a crucifix or bible when u r actually a buddhist]......etc)
  
  so did they confiscate it n then confront u n ask u bout it....or did they juz ask u casually bout it, or did they never say anything ???(but u know some1 had gone thru ur stuffs coz its messed up)
  
  so if they did confiscate, did they return u in the end? if so, did they set any conditions? did u quarrel wif ur parents then?
  
  n also, have ur siblings or parents secretly went to read ur diary? den did they confront or ask u bout the things mentioned in ur diary?

  Now this is one post that makes quite a lot of sense =P
  
  Well, parents are parents, and their concern over you is important for them, of course, they will search and search and try to find out things that they think may seem to distract you from your studies, i.e. computer games, pornography or stuffs that are similar to it...
  
  They often question me for some SX-18 movies that I do have last time in huge bulk, and got remanded for a few weeks, also got all my conputer games confiscated for 2 months and by the time they returned it to me, I was already addicted to studying, so it didn't distract me anymore...
  
  During my college years and uni years, I remembered giving back good results and results that will enable me to step further into my studies, they let me have my own privacy no matter where I am.
