When you look for a new job, do you:
1) look for a higher salary but less job exposure.
Doing what you have already know and is lower rank than your existing job.
Company promises you that there will be restructuring in the coming year where there will be better job progression; OR
2) look for exposure where you can learn things which are different from what you have been doing. - may need to work longer hours than existing job and need to bsbh for the time being.
Salary is like slightly better than the existing one by ard 3-5% or the same as what you are getting now.
Need your choice & comments.
Do quote the number of years you have been working. Need to do an assessment.

I would choose number 2. This is in line with the government stance on lifelong education.

2... use it as a stepping stone... learn more from there... if u wna to change to a higher paying job later also not too late... with the knowledge experience and energy u can get another higher paying job later when u acquire everything that requires of the high payign job..

negotiate for more pay is a must. That's your only chance of getting the pay you want.
Don't expect the employers to adjust your pay later on. They won't. -

It's up to u ! If u r the type tat jus wanna get $$$$ at the end of each mth, then choose some job "easier", if u lik challenge, u shld tak more opportunites. Ppl can giv alot of opinions but eventually u r the one to work. Definitely i would choose a job which provides me wif experience so if one day u quit or sack, u stil hav value !
