Can Destiny or fate be overridden....

I for one believe destiny or fate can be overridden. Destiny is a process of a journey... if its journey can be changed then the destiny will be.

Truth is, you'll almost never know if what you are living through right now is your true fate or the over-ridden one.

We discussed this issue before last time in the topic Meant To Be... =P
But anywayz... our lives are undetermined in the future, it is up to us, who gain the freewill from the Almighty to do anything with our lives the way we want it to be...
How each and everyone of us handle our lives results in the consequences that we intended in the first place. Some give back their freewill to the Almighty by serving Him whereas others choose a different path... -

I dun know the answer to that question. As much as we do wish that we can determine how our lives turn out to be, we have to recongnise that it is sometimes not all about effort, not all about ability, but that things do turn out right for you when it needs to. If this is fate and destiny, then I guess we have a limited control of it.

I read it but I dont quite agree with your interpretation. What is destiny? Why it is there for us? Look, let say, you want to go to NYC and you take a plane to NYC but the routing is Sin/Tokyo/LA/NYC. Destiny can never be overidden, if you've changed your life somehow it is your destiny that you've changed it.
Or you can look at it like this, Destiny is not a number but its an unknown with a formula. -
YOu control your own fate.. n like a tree with many branches, the one u cut off will determine what ur end fate will be. But u can always change it. Fate is in your hands... but there is always the HAND OF GOD.. it will either guide u .. or stop u in ur tracks and smite u down

how would you know the change flight to china will be a better route?
what if it crash??
even if you chose other flights, misfortunes comes in many forms. if you're destined to have bloodsheds by traffic, you can also be killed by other vehicles. -

Simply put. Destiny is 75% pre ordained and 25% free will. To a certain extent, you can influence your destiny with the choices you make.

Have you heard lately you can surf internet on plane??? With this same concept, the angels or godess of mercy will somehow know how to pass info to me via wave or sounds to inform me there is something is going to happen.
Yes, God design the destiny but He allows Goddess of mercy to pass info... I have support of Goddess of mercy leh...
