Everyday, i see some stupid idea that is suggested by an adult to be implented into the education system.I mean can you stop this nonsense or not?, who is the one studying?You or me?You know the MOE, if they decide to incoporate your stupid idea.They will never consult the student's opinions at all and straightaway implement your stupid idea.You bloody asswipe!The idea that you wanted to be incoporated is only to your satisfaction, the miniority.As if you really care?You only care about your dumbass idea being implemented and you are satisfied already.You also obviously dont know how much fuckin paperwork we might need to go through if your bloody idea is incoporated into the system.Adults should just shut the hell up, they complain more about the education system when they are not even studying themselves and make it sound as though their bloody worthless idea is shared among the students as well.Just shut the hell up and stop writing your worthless comments to the straits times forum.

the educational system is in a mess.
dont understand why they cannot stick to the conventional way.
just to show that we are special or one step ahead?
how many times have our system changed over the last 10 years.
soon students will go straight to university after PSLE.

However drunk our thread starter is, he does have a point.
There seems to be a lot of political pressure within MOE to implement change. Unfortunately, the current administration seems lost as to how to proceed.
They have no clearly defined roadmap.
They introduce new portfolios or guidelines at a whim.
They operate on a 5 day week but teachers are 'forced' to come back on saturdays to conduct or attend courses, give remedial lessons for our 'weaker' pupils and participate in meetings. Irony? no?
It seems MOE is content to let the rot continue. I don't see our Minister for Education Tharman Sharmugaratnam doing anything to stop it. -

well, thats what i think.
but ask yourselves this before you guys condem the education system again. your kid's classmates are nolonger all from singapore. what we have is now multiracial classes. the sole reason for kids from other countries is because their parents has respected the fact that the singapore education system is world class.

Well, I agree that the education system is getting more f@#$ed up each year. It's not only affecting students, but also the teachers as well, as I've heard from one of my teacher friends. I wish people up there at MOE or higher would just pause and consider what they are doing and map out some proper blueprint instead of just blindly hantam and hope to get something good, because that would never work.
