  i would like to know more details about banks in singapore?
  
  how is DBS? are there any other recommended choices? and what types of banks are they? what types of banks do you have? what are their requirements?
  how many commercial banks are there in singapore?

  The request you make is a rather vague one.
  
  Banks have a huge financial workscope encompassing bonds, equities and client investment banking, not to mention maintaining your personal savings acc.
  
  Maybe if you were more specific?

  Try asking our dear PM? After all, he was once chairman of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and hence should know quite a bit about banks.
