i once stumbled onto this very interesting nightspot in Pattaya, Thailand, a few years back, after september 11 ...
it was one of those "foreigners only" bars that stays open way way beyond the official night spot closing time ...
Inside you see loads of arab men with their dark beards ... with a heineken in one hand and a girl in the other arm (man, those guys can seriously drink !!! ) ... side by side with US marines and sailors just off their ships at sattahip .... young men with shaven crew cuts ... some still in their "sailormoon" uniforms ..... getting drunk .... both sides having loads of fun ... and sharing the charcoal braziers for their turkish pipes ....
I told myself then .... man ... Osama can never win ! ....
