also want to get a mp3 player. not only can mp3 but can also play wma files. i think wma is much better than mp3!!! clearer output and smaller in size !!!
what player is better??? if apple ipod, then what model, if Creative, then wat model...
compare in terms in prices, function, batteries, charging, weight, capability to play wma, to display photo....
some ppl said that if you buy ipod, it's only branded. but no quality sound compared to Creative Zen.
creative zen is cheaper than ipod...

What model would depends on how much files you intend to hold in your MP3 and what 'shape' you like...? Simply just go down to the stalls and check them out...?

Apple iPods has the wow factor in terms of it's industrial design, ease of use, fast navigation, etc. They are not solely jus mp3 players anymore. The newest iPod to join the family play videos and display photos too. It does not comes with FM though cos it's main selling point is playing tracks still. To some people, it's not essential to have a FM.
Can't really say which one is better cos everyone has different taste and feel for the product and sometimes, the Brand itself. Like many folks here said, go down and try the products instead. Have a feel. Try out the navigation. Issit easy to go to a song to another? Is the screen bright and sharp? Do you like the weight? Does the player plays the format you want? Does it feels solid in your hands? So many points to consider, so many products to choose from.

i read in a tech magazine that Apple is improving the sound quality of their players so fast that the sound quality of iPod Shuffle surpasses iRiver and Creative mp3s. to tink Creative produces sound cards

Ipod is still the best, especially the new ipod video...wasted...i just got my pod 1 month before that release...very happy with it though. frankly, creative is crap...don't nessecarily have to get ipod, but just don't get creative....but if you ask for my recommendation....it's gotta be the pod...
