So what the Foreign newpaper report their out going ambassor saying bad things about Singapore. That it part of their bad culture, he come as a guest, enjoy all the good stuff here, we keep him safe from terrorist, and this is what he have to say ? He does not even have basic courtesy of saying thank you. He should be ship to indonesia or iraq to do his next term to learn to some respect and not to take other countries kindness for granted.

He made an objective speech and only ingrates would slam a man who has the guts to say out the most pressing problem Singapore is facing.
Frank Lavin's words are meant to bring Singapore and America closer, and unless you are a total language idiot savant, you can easily read the whole article and judge it based on a neutral standpoint, and not through the white tinted lenses of the national press.
Well, unless you are one that benefits from political monopoly, suppression of ideas and rejection of a system that allows the people to truly have democratic power to change the status quo legally...
