Sony ruled the 1980s and the 1990s with the Walkman, but in the age of digitalized music, Apple took over the throne of the portable player with its iPod series. Now Sony has introduced a new portable MP3 player to the market to challenge the current king.
The bean-like shape fits nicely into your palm and all the control keys are placed at the front center for ease of use. The screen is easy to see with organic light emitting display. The player is available in 512MB or 1GB storage capacity.
The unit comes with built-in FM tuner and USB connector. You charge the battery via USB, and with just three minutes of battery charge, you get three hours of playback time. The unit can be fully charged in two hours, which will allow for 50 hours of playback.
Available in three colors: coconut white, tropical ice blue, and cotton candy pink
now sony also want to makan, creative days are numbered liao

i agree... it'll take them forever to beat Apple. the reason why iPod started off so well is because they launched iTunes Music Store AND iPod together. in addition, there r over a thousand accessories made for iPodOriginally posted by kaobeikaobu:don't think will sell well.

If u r comparing the price of 512mb Beanie, its US$120 per 512mb while the iPod Nano is US$31.25 per 512mb.
Price of the player itself is included here...
but i had to admit, the battery life is impressive
