well, it depends ah... if you really did well and can enter the Top 5, then go to the Top 5. coz' u belong there.
if you want a sch near ur hse, all the better. the latest i got up is 6.55am.. showered and went out quickly. reach sch at 7.30am.
sch is 2 bus stops away.
if you want a pressure cooker sch in the east, mjc.
if you want a sch wiv an abundance of chinese ppl, nyjc, hcjc.
if you're rich, acjc.
if you're a gal but shy to wear skirt and wanna wear pants, pjc.
my classmate got 6pts but opted for tpjc coz' it's a 5-min walk to sch.
depends on what you really want. if you do well under pressure, go for the good schools. -

The argument during my times is branded JC implies higher chance to go to local Unis. If go neighborhood JC and then later fail to qualify it is like lose 2 years of study as compared to going Polytechnic.
Nowadays I dunno the reason but I am living proof neighborhood JC can make it to Uni

it doesnt matter...
as long as u are brilliant, u will top e sch even if u are in e lousiest JC..main point is, tis is a passport to Uni...if u screw it, tatz it..no much better than a O level grad...so its either u make it for break it..
its v tiring to go thru JC...i dare to say tat Uni is less stressful than it..(local Uni tat is..) commuting time is v impt..u can save many hrs of sleep if ur JC is v near ur hse..not lik u dunno how mad it is in e morning rush hr... -

That is for gahmen or GLC job. In the private sector, working experience takes a higher percentage over paper. Wan go gahmen get a bigger paper -
go NJC! ANYWAY jus go anywhere la...if u smart u in ite oso can go uni... but nothing is impossible... a dumb person may get 1st class honours in uni if he works hard... even nv go uni oso nv mind...he might be a future successful businessman? e professor lecturing u now next time might become your assistant when u obtained the nobel prize! future is unpredictable !
