How Tall is Tom Cruise

HI i know this is a pointless qns but i jus kinda curious.His Bio states 5'7 .. He doesn't seem that small or short in the movies, almost normal like everyone...
I'm ard 170cm but feels like a dwarf... most ppl i know or see are like way taller than me... not 2 mention i'm in S'pore. -

in all Tom Cruise's movies, 5 million dollar of the movie budget is used to make him look taller. -
He looks short cus he hangs out with tall peeps...

anyone watch "interview with the vampire".. he didn't any diff frm Brad Pitt thou the latter is like 6'1..
But height in the movies can be deceiving... Christian Bale in Batman begins looks kinda of average (esp beside Liam Nesson) but i was kind surprised he 's actually 1.88m !
He looks "normal" cos his co-star like Neeson, Morgan Freeman & Michael Caine are all giants! -
