new shoes.. damn pain

  Anyone has tips to reduce the pain caused by the heel of the shoe rubbing against the back of my foot... that area near to the ankle... btw i am not wearing heels, just covered shoes.
  
  I've tried pasting the leather heel protector from scholl but to no avail... help...

  just keep wearing the shoes and endure the pain and it'll be seasoned in no time
