anyone bought condoms from retail outlet before?

  I dun and if I really want to buy I'll probably buy from the online one. I always wonder if those condoms on the display usually near the counter are just waiting to expire since I have never since anyone buy them at any retail outlets. I can only imagine someone buying them in the early wee morning from 7-11 or only in VERY urgent situation
  
  I felt that there is always some degree of embarrassment even if both cashier and customer are guys,worse if ur spotted by other people during the purchase
