something interesting from ch 52, News from taiwan.
Taiwan recently built a hospital at a cost of NT700 million.
shortly after it opened they encountered plenty of problems.
1. the water cooler broke down.
2. the hand dryer broke down.
3. the drip stand cut a teenager and she has to be admitted.
4. the ceiling of the staircase is too low. anyone taller then 1.75m has to stoop when using it.
5. the beds are too small and patients fell off the bed while sleeping.
6. the lifts are too small for the beds to go in.
7. the mirrors fixed at the carparks (for bends) are too small. someone has to be assigned to direct the cars.
can you believe such things happened? -
fengshui of that hospital must be DAMN bad.

think it has more to do with graft then fengshui.

i heard due to the lift too small for a bed to go in,
patient who need surgery must go 1 big round to the operation room.
the route passes by a canteen,imagine ppls having meal there seeing bodies,dead or alive pushing around. -

i enjoy watching their news though. lots of entertainment value. -

there was also lots of issues with the liew-lian at the bay
and it did not promote the arts scene and its not making any money plue the damn fugly thing cost us all a bomb to build.

the owner of a landed property found his toilet bowl choked to the brim. he consulted a contractor who removed the floor tiles to check on the sewerage pipe.
guess what?
the pipes were not connected to the sewerage at all. all they found were a short length of pipe. they actually flushed the waste underneath their own floor.
unbelievable how far these contractors will go to cheat. -
