What do you remember about 1997?

1997 was my most memorable year.Great friends,great fun,stress free.No family problems.At the thought of it,almost throughout the whole 365 days was like living in heaven.
A pity that things are totally the opposite now.

I remembered that during 1997 tcs has their monthly own movies.TCS at that time was so much better than now.

1997 for me was a busy year round, had to prepare for a major exam, a so called Lower Secondary Final Examination (PMR).
Otherwise, yeah, always get bullied by people around who is bigger in size and of course, probably they bully other people because they have an unhappy childhood and a lot of scars on their face -

lotsa family outings since i was still young then, havent hit the act cool puberty stage yet, primary 2 then.
first ever fight in the school field, was a 5 vs 1 where i acted like a hero against 5 other pri 4 kids. managed to make 2 of them cry, but ended up with a bloody shirt due to my nose bleed. our story was, "we crashed into each other while playing soccer" how unbelievable.
school was pretty fun, that was when this one girl first had a crush on me, extreme shyness back then.
picked up basketball in this year, played everyday opposite my house, some korean dudes bought a portable basketball stand.
First and last time my father ever hit me with a cane, or anything else.
First time i got a watch, it was a really expensive one too, don't know why the hell my mother allowed me to wear it, carven timepiece.
a good friend of mine stole my digimon while we were having recess, i saw him do it. i cried because i lost a friend.
hmm, will update more when i can recall -
haha..Primary school kids are crybabies no matter which era.I also remembered a lot of classmates crying because their digimon got confiscated

what happened to you doesn't mean will happen to EVERYONE!!
you may have a happy childhood but bad adulthood.....while some people have a sad and harsh childhood but will only have better life in middle age.

wah me still in primary 4 then, school was nice then, so called streaming at the end of the year

I was in Sec 2.
And I was still getting bullied by those big boys who pick on the smaller ones just to boost their egos.
I'm glad to say I've never heard from any of them again. -

I was in Primary school. Pri 3 I think. Being bullied. Or was I doing the bullying? FOrgot.

Then Diana Died. No effect on me. I just thought, oh, so she likes a black man issit?
