ligament tear in the knee will be so bad that you can visibly see the lower leg (below the knee) shift forward and backward away from the joint, since ligaments are meant to hold the joints. that's how the doctors test.
after a seemingly recovery from the initial injury, light jogging can be fine, but when there're activities that involve twisting movement at the knee like football, shuttle run, etc... you Always run a High risk of Collapsing again, because the ligament is already torn, and your knee can't hold on normally.
maybe the symptoms ain't so bad, just that in my case i've got both anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament torn
cure for tear? reconstructive surgery. period. if i get to know of any other way, i'm going to sue the doctor.
my book recommend the massaging around the tear region ,something the western doc dun agreeOriginally posted by renorenal:Both torn? Ouch... must have a lot of 'giving aways' when you walk...
Sue the doctor? Private or government?

it is for the muscle to heal by performing massaging the injured region and the muscle will slowly bridge the tear slowly
up to 9 monthsOriginally posted by renorenal:Errr... what book and how long?
He is the guy who introduces new method as in traditional method as a non-surgical approach for injuries rite?Originally posted by bohiruci:up to 9 months

But 9 months is quite long rite? You have to go there everyday for the therapy? Wouldn't it be time-consuming?
9 months of this manual theraphy is insignificant to ur whole life of 50 yrs bahOriginally posted by renorenal:He is the guy who introduces new method as in traditional method as a non-surgical approach for injuries rite?

Hmmm... true true... so you are going to do it on yourself?Originally posted by bohiruci:9 months of this manual theraphy is insignificant to ur whole life of 50 yrs bah
i did my own massaging according to the book ,now i have recovered ,so the book never said nonsenseOriginally posted by renorenal:Hmmm... true true... so you are going to do it on yourself?
No, I don't think it's nonsense, its alternative medicine... besides the author has an M.D. which means he is well-trained in the medical field and ventured further to the alternative therapy for the less fortunate, financially... Congrats!Originally posted by bohiruci:i did my own massaging according to the book ,now i have recovered ,so the book never said nonsense![]()
