i mean, muslims who don't fast, since this is the fasting month...i'm not being racist here, let me say this...
i was at one ITE one day, and i saw this group of malays, guys and girls, one of the guys took out some coin and bought a packet of drinks from the vending machine and passed it to his gf who started drinking it...den, the same guy lit up a cigarette and proceeded to the toilet for a puff...and when he came out, his gf passed him the drink and he also took a sip...
seeing this, 2 more malay guys followed and bought themselves a packet of drink...
i know that toddlers, pregnant ladies and ppl who are sick are allowed to skip fasting, not young teenagers who are well enough to attend school and smoke...
also, i noticed that if guys wanted to skip fasting, they are more afraid to let others see it, they do it discreetly...whereas the girls do it openly... -

but in my ite, one lecturer ever told the muslim stall holder not to sell food to muslims, coz they were supposed to be fasting. my muslim classmates then gathered around during break time and went to library to rest, stay away from canteen. -

harloe guys, i'm a Muslim here.. and i'm fasting despite having a flu since yday.
it's all a matter of discipline. what you do now is up to you. rape, murder, not fasting. just answer for it in your afterlife.

Some modern malays do eat, drink, gamble, smoke 365 days a year. Some even drink 'tiger' during lunch time. Normal mah. When u hungry, ask yourself, will your god come down hand you food? No rite? So........no big deal for a muslim to eat during fasting months. Even my malay colleagues also told me they don't really follow the rules anymore.

Well, I'm fasting.
Yes, I am disturbed by those who aren't fasting when they ought to. Even if they don't have to fast (illness, menses, etc) they are still expected to eat and drink discreetly. When they do it openly, they show a total lack of respect to those who fast.
That said, it's not my place to judge them for their actions. They'll have to answer to God Almighty for their actions, not me. They live their life their way, and I live my life my way. -
